Cheap and Cheerful Chilli Sausage, Potato, Bean Casserole
This cheap and easy Chilli sausage, potato, bean casserole is comfort food at its best. Not only is it filling, it’s simple, uses just seven ingredients and the kids will love it too!
This recipe serves 4 people and will take approximately 35 mins to prepare and cook, so you won’t have to be in the kitchen for long to prepare this delicious dish. This recipe for Chilli sausage, potato Bean casserole is perfect if you’re on a budget or feeding a lot of people in one go, as the ingredients are cheap, and you only need seven ingredients to make it: oil, potatoes, sausages, onion, green pepper, A tin of kidney beans and Chilli con Carne.
Using shop-bought sauce speeds up the cooking and prep time which is perfect if you’re in a hurry or something quick and easy for a mid-week dinner. But you can always make your own chilli sauce if you wanted too and make it completely homemade but this will take more time, not good if you are busy.

The great thing about this recipe is you can take it up a notch really easily – use chorizo instead of sausages or try Chilli Cheese sausages in it. In our case, we use gluten-free sausages.
