Tasty Gluten-free Halloween Crispy -Rice Pumpkins
These tasty treats are made with Gluten-Free Crispy rice and Gluten-free Marshmallows. * I got my marshmallows from Lidl as I noticed the Halloween Marshmallows were gluten-free ( always check packets). I also used a Pumpkin shaped baking mould I picked up in Lidl but this is optional.
Ingredients
- 4 cups of crispy rice
- 1/2 packet of Marshmallows
- Red food colouring gel
- Yellow food colouring gel
- 2 tsp pumpkin spice
- Black Sugar-paste or black icing gel
The How to Bit
- In a large bowl place your crispy rice
- Place your marshmallows in a microwave proof bowl and heat until melted
- Add the yellow and red food colouring
- Mix the pumpkin spices into the marshmallow fluff and quickly mix into the crispy rice
- Either mould pumpkin shapes with your hands or use the baking mould
- Place in the fridge to chill
To decorate – roll out some black sugar paste and cut out mouths and eyes for your pumpkins
These are a sticky messy fun treat to make and I bet kids will love to make them.
